Senior Presales Engineer
Amberes is a Series B, Israeli-founded technology company redefining IT operations through autonomous AI. They are seeking a Senior Presales Engineer to partner with Account Executives in delivering product demonstrations and solution designs focused on AI and IT automation.
Responsibilities
Technical Pre-Sales Support – Join sales calls and demos to present solutions, answer technical questions, and tailor demonstrations to prospect environments
AI & Automation Expertise – Explain how AI agents pull data from live systems, interact with APIs and tools, and operate within defined guardrails
Solution Design – Map customer IT workflows to platform capabilities across RMM, ticketing, patching, and automation
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Product, R&D, and Support to address prospect requirements and feedback
Deal Velocity – Manage multiple opportunities in parallel while maintaining clear communication and organization
Qualification
Required
3+ years experience in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Consulting role
Strong technical understanding of IT operations, RMM, PSA, or help desk platforms
Solid foundational knowledge of AI and modern LLM capabilities
Comfort explaining how AI integrates with systems, APIs, and workflows
Familiarity with Windows environments; Mac and Linux experience a plus
Hands-on exposure to APIs, scripting, or integrations preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Passion for technology, innovation, and customer-facing work
Ability to commute to a New York office three days per week
