They are seeking a Pipe Welder/Fitter responsible for the repair and fabrication of pipe, sheet, and structural assemblies, primarily working with stainless steel and aluminum in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Repair and fabricate pipe, sheet, and structural assemblies
Perform stainless steel and aluminum welding
Work from blueprints or create original builds
Lay out and fabricate new and replacement piping systems
Install valves and related piping equipment
Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications
Tack-weld and weld components and assemblies using GTAW, SMAW, MIG, and gas welding processes
Use plasma machines, acetylene torches, band saws, and cut-off machines to size materials
Use pipe threading and cutting machines to prepare threaded pipes
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in blueprint reading
Experience in welding, pipe welding, and TIG welding
Knowledge of mechanical and pneumatics systems
Experience in industrial maintenance
Preferred
Tasks include layout and fabrication of piping systems
Installation of valves and related equipment
