Responsibilities
Design, implement, and troubleshoot end-to-end IoT solutions within enterprise environments
Integrate and onboard IoT devices onto the network using Cisco DNA Center, ensuring seamless connectivity and scalable performance
Work with sensors, actuators, communication modules, and other hardware components to build robust IoT ecosystems
Implement strong security measures to protect IoT devices, applications, and sensitive data
Leverage expertise in Cisco SD‑Access, DNA Center, and vXLAN to develop secure network strategies and isolate IoT traffic
Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate IoT architectures, and recommend technology improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, engineering, and operations—to gather and analyze project requirements
Develop scalable network designs that support the growing volume of IoT devices and traffic
Troubleshoot IoT hardware, firmware, software components, and connectivity issues
Document network designs, system architecture, technical specifications, and troubleshooting procedures
Ensure compliance with enterprise network standards, security guidelines, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in IoT development, including both firmware and software integration
Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, and Java
Hands-on understanding of IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, Thread, etc
Experience with cloud IoT platforms like AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or similar
Solid understanding of network security best practices related to IoT systems
Experience working with sensors, actuators, and embedded hardware
Strong knowledge of troubleshooting IoT devices, networks, and software components
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in dynamic environments
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setup
Preferred
Background in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) domain
Knowledge of network automation tools, scripting, and monitoring platforms
Experience with large‑scale IoT deployments within highly secure enterprise networks
