$70/hr - $78/hreTeam is seeking a Cloud Engineer to lead the migration of enterprise applications to Microsoft Azure and support the development of new applications. The role requires extensive hands-on experience in Azure Cloud environments, along with the ability to design CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end migration of applications from on-premises to Azure cloud
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and other DevOps tools
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and Ansible
Perform cloud readiness assessments and identify application dependencies and risks
Modernize applications through rehosting, refactoring, or rearchitecting strategies
Optimize performance and cost post-migration, including scaling and resource management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application owners, DBAs, and compliance officers
Manage change control processes including cutover plans and rollback strategies
Support development of new Azure native applications from scratch
Qualification
Required
Extensive hands-on experience in Azure Cloud environments
Excellent communication skills
Deep technical expertise in Azure services
Experience with cloud migration tools
Experience with infrastructure automation
Prior software development experience
Preferred
Prior software development experience, preferably in .NET architecture
Deep technical expertise in Azure services and cloud migration tools
Experience with infrastructure automation and DevOps practices
