Responsibilities
Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts with the Plant General Manager, targeting ±5% forecast accuracy
Utilize KPIs and plant initiatives to identify growth and improvement opportunities
Collaborate with commercial business leaders to challenge and validate revenue expectations
Simplify budget preparation and financial reporting processes
Clearly communicate financial and non-financial performance indicators
Identify key business drivers and articulate financial impact
Serve as a financial consultant to develop and track improvement action plans
Support, review, and monitor cost-reduction and cost-takeout initiatives
Partner with the General Manager on long-range capital (CAPEX) planning
Analyze competitor strengths and weaknesses to support strategic planning
Oversee internal controls and remediation activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and authority levels
Safeguard site assets and ensure accurate financial reporting
Balance value creation with control efficiency
Optimize financial and operational processes using IT improvements and best practices
Provide customer profitability analysis and identify margin erosion
Facilitate margin improvement discussions related to pricing, volume, or operations
Perform month-end close activities in the ERP system
Review daily job costing and resolve reporting issues
Validate WIP, finished goods, and raw material balances
Review journal entries and P&L classifications
Support inventory counts and reconciliations
Monitor working capital and cash flow performance
Facilitate decision-making to improve working capital efficiency
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis including benchmarking against similar plants
Prepare and deliver presentations for plant visits
Perform other tasks as deemed necessary within scope
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (tested and validated)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills in a changing environment
Ability to influence, persuade, and drive results
High ethical standards and integrity
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred
Experience with Hyperion SmartView
Experience with QlikCloud
Experience managing or supporting large capital projects
MBA or CMA strongly preferred
