Responsibilities
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close to ensure timely and accurate financials
Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Manage and mentor a team of two accountants, including work review and ongoing development
Support quarterly and annual financial reporting and work closely with external auditors
Maintain and enhance balance sheet reconciliations, analyses, and reporting schedules
Identify opportunities to improve close and reconciliation processes and internal controls
Partner cross-functionally with teams across finance, operations, legal, and IT
Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
Qualification
Required
6+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience
Prior experience managing or leading accounting staff
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Solid Excel skills for analysis and reconciliations
Ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and external auditors
Preferred
Public accounting background preferred
Experience using NetSuite strongly preferred
