Responsibilities
Acquire and manage data from multiple sources and storage systems
Transform and modernize existing ETL logic to AWS, Databricks, or equivalent cloud platforms
Design, develop, and enhance data services and components using best practices
Establish and enforce data quality, consistency, and governance guidelines
Execute standard software development tasks including design, development, testing, and troubleshooting
Develop secure and high-quality code with minimal supervision
Troubleshoot issues across upstream and downstream systems
Apply SDLC tools and automation practices to improve delivery efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, analytics, and infrastructure
Qualification
Required
4–7 years of experience in Data Engineering with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Strong practical experience with ETL frameworks and data transformation pipelines
Experience working with AWS-based data platforms
Solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming concepts
Ability to write secure, high-quality, and maintainable code
Experience working with large-scale data systems
Python, Java
