Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will offer support, and the firm uses is called ESUB which is a SharePoint CRM type system, this system houses subcontractors and does project tracking capabilities
Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines
Assist the Sr PM in the analysis of construction plans, HVAC documents, scope of work, costs, and contracts
Work with project managers to understand and execute change order requests
Support in the preparation of proposals
Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to request bids/quotes
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three years of experience in the HVAC / Refrigeration space
Mechanical aptitude within the HVAC or Construction space
Ability to commit to five days in the office
Reside ideally in Nassau or Suffolk County
Strong communications skills and capability to articulate with construction, HVAC, and electrical contractors
Detail-oriented
Ability to use Adobe software to read draft drawings, measurements, and contractual agreements
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
Previous role as an Assistant Project Manager preferably in the HVAC or Construction space
