Responsibilities
Operate and set up automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production process
Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to ensure adherence to product specifications
Monitor meters, gauges, and control systems to ensure production processes meet specified guidelines
Perform equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
Make necessary adjustments to equipment and provide feedback for process improvement
Conduct quality control and in-process testing, modifying equipment as needed
Set up and operate a range of machine tools, including mill-turns, mills, lathes, grinders, and powder presses
Align and secure tooling, attachments, and materials onto machines
Modify programs for Robot and Vision Systems, writing product-specific and robot programs as needed
Adhere to all safety procedures to maintain a 100% safe work environment
Support Lean Enterprise initiatives for improved quality, reduced waste, and increased productivity
Qualification
Required
Experience with blueprints, mechanical assembly, and machining
Proficiency in operating lathe and mill machines
Ability to use calipers and other precision measurement tools
