Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize company websites, microsites, and landing pages
Ensure all web properties comply with cannabis advertising and marketing regulations
Optimize site performance, uptime, security, and mobile responsiveness
Manage hosting environments (GoDaddy, VPS, cloud hosting) and execute website migrations
Configure and maintain firewalls, SSL certificates, and security protocols
Manage DNS, BNS, domains, databases, and backend web services
Partner with Marketing to support organic traffic growth to both digital platforms and physical retail locations through technical SEO, site structure, and performance optimization
Implement and maintain analytics, tag management, and reporting tools
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on web development experience delivering production-ready WordPress and Shopify websites; able to provide live examples and portfolios
Strong experience with DNS, hosting environments, and server management
Solid understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and site analytics
Experience managing site security, firewalls, and performance optimization
Preferred
Experience supporting local SEO and store-level web structures tied to physical locations
Experience in cannabis or other highly regulated industries (healthcare, finance, alcohol)
Graphic design or front-end UX/UI experience is a plus
