Responsibilities
Direct and oversee financial operations for the Foundation, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets aligned with departmental and organizational goals
Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with federal, state, nonprofit, and healthcare regulations
Serve as a liaison between the Foundation and Parkland Health, supporting alignment and communication
Lead, coach, and evaluate staff; support professional development and performance management
Analyze workflows and financial processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness
Stay current with industry trends, nonprofit finance standards, and healthcare financial regulations
Support grants management, reporting, and financial oversight related to philanthropic funding
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 7 years of financial leadership experience
Minimum 4 years of nonprofit finance experience
Healthcare finance experience, preferably within a large hospital system
Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, budgeting, and financial analysis
Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Public Administration
Direct Foundation finance experience
Grants management experience
