Responsibilities
Design, build, and modify prototype systems using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms
Develop and execute test setups utilizing sensors, actuators, and data acquisition systems
Perform automated testing and data logging using LabVIEW or similar software
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and instrumentation issues in prototype systems
Specify, source, and configure laboratory instrumentation to support test procedures
Conduct routine physical, chemical, and mechanical testing of components and prototypes
Prepare samples and test setups according to established protocols
Record, analyze, and summarize test data; generate clear and accurate reports
Maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory equipment
Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and safety procedures
Support design verification and validation documentation
Collaborate with engineering teams to refine designs and testing methodologies
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
3–5 years of experience in a technical lab, prototyping, or product development environment
+ Minimum of 2 years required
Proficiency with Arduino, LabVIEW, and basic circuit design
Experience conducting physical, chemical, and mechanical tests
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical lab tools and instrumentation
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation habits
