Responsibilities
Research customer inquiries and determine appropriate actions to deliver solution-driven outcomes
Resolve non-routine customer requests and complaints related to billing, policies, and account issues
Educate customers on billing details and energy consumption using established procedures and guidelines
Record, process, and follow up on customer account commitments to support one-contact resolution
Support customers with online account access and mobile application requests
Apply active listening and empathy to build strong customer relationships and emotional connections
Adapt responses to unique situations while operating within corporate policies and procedures
Meet daily performance metrics, quality standards, and schedule adherence requirements
Provide guidance and direction to less experienced team members when needed
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a call center or customer-facing environment
Experience handling billing inquiries, account maintenance, or customer complaints
Working knowledge of customer service procedures, policies, and escalation practices
Ability to document interactions accurately within customer account systems
Basic computer proficiency, including navigating multiple systems simultaneously
