Intern - Test Engineering
AtlasQuo is an HR consultancy firm that helps candidates match with potential roles. The Test Engineering Intern will work with a team of engineers to develop and test hardware, contributing significantly to optimizing industrial operations and gaining comprehensive exposure to the business structure.
Responsibilities
Develop and test hardware and optimize industrial operations
Assist in circuit design and component selection
Develop test requirements and execute hardware verification test plans for board level functional testing, EMC validation, Certification Agency compliance (UL, ATEX, IECEX), and Functional Safety (IEC 61508)
Perform programming, analysis, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware prototypes
Contribute to associated product design documentation and test reports
Design and development of scripts for automating test procedures
Documenting of test procedures
Execution of test procedures for verification of product functionality (manual/automated)
Creation of test reports
Assistance with lab audit/improvement activities
Assist with build and commissioning of test hardware platforms
Qualification
Required
This role is NOT open to students from Computer Science, Software Engineering or Aerospace Engineering backgrounds

Eligible Majors: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Safety and Supply Chain
Must be enrolled for at least one more semester after the internship concludes
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future
Preferred
Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited college
Cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
Experience with Power Electronics or motors
Experience with design capture tools
Be able to work with schematic drawings
Basic knowledge of circuit theory and operation, including microprocessors, digital logic devices, analog and/or DC-power conversion, programmable devices (CPLDs, FPGAs)
Basic programming (C++, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript)
Familiarity with tools such as CAD, Creoparametic, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), 3D Modeling, SAP, Matlab
Experience with industrial automation environments including PLC or drives programming
Experience using Agile methodology
