The role involves incident response, change management, and performance tuning, as well as collaboration with various teams to enforce segmentation policies aligned with Zero Trust principles.

Responsibilities

Provide operational support for the Illumio platform including incident response, change management and performance tuning

Perform policy modeling and enforce segmentation strategies using Illumio PCE(Policy compute engine)

Collaborate with Infrastructure, application, and security team to define and enforce segmentation policies aligned with Zero trust principle

Monitor, analyze and optimize policies using Illumio explorer, Illumination maps and traffic flow data

Assist in Illumio VEN agent deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting

Participate in Security audits, compliance activities and ensure adherence to internal standards

Familiarity with Zero trust security models and micro-segmentation principles

Strong troubleshooting skills of networking concepts including TCP/IP, firewalls, routing and switching

Familiarity and strong knowledge in PCI DSS is added advantage

Experience with operating systems windows / Linux in enterprise environments

Knowledge of cloud infrastructure is a plus
