Responsibilities
Support engineering teams with feature testing, full regression testing, and ad-hoc testing
Create, maintain, and update test plans aligned with new features and product launches
Test application functionality across web, iOS, and Android platforms
Review, reproduce, and triage user-reported and internal bugs, initiating tickets as needed
Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and unanticipated issues
Use bug tracking and debugging tools to document, track, and resolve issues
Communicate clearly and consistently with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders regarding test results and risks
Collaborate with automation engineers to help build and maintain test suites
Champion a high-quality, customer-first experience through attention to detail and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional QA / software testing experience on large-scale, consumer-facing web and mobile applications
Hands-on experience testing frontend (web), iOS, and Android applications
Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, including regression and exploratory testing
Proven ability to identify, prioritize, and drive defects to closure across multiple releases
Experience developing validation strategies for complex functional areas at scale
Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with engineering teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must own at least one Android device and one iOS device for mobile testing
Preferred
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Exposure to test automation or partnering with automation teams
Experience supporting new product launches or fast-paced release cycles
Background testing high-traffic consumer platforms
