Responsibilities
Work closely with the Production Engineering team using AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, and/or Microvellum
Build and optimize cut lists using Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, and CutRite
Reconcile Bills of Material (BOMs) for each work order using CutRite output
Verify hardware types, quantities, and material requirements
Prepare custom millwork and cabinetry items for the plant
Create and manage shipment items for products released to production
Generate labels for the manufacturing process
Release complete engineering packages to the plant for processing
Identify discrepancies early and communicate clearly with Plant Management
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, or manufacturing engineering
Strong working knowledge of cabinetry construction and manufacturing processes
AutoCAD experience required
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Comfortable working in structured systems and established standards
Clear, professional communicator who raises issues early and fact-based
Preferred
Experience with Microvellum and/or Cabinet Vision strongly preferred
Experience with cut-listing and optimization software (CutRite preferred)
Two-year technical degree or higher preferred
Relevant millwork or cabinetry engineering experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
