Responsibilities
Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers
Evaluate RFQs and recommend solutions based on Elma’s product portfolio
Collaborate with engineering to translate customer needs into actionable designs
Prepare cost proposals, system configuration documents, and technical deliverables
Maintain and communicate detailed customer requirements
Travel to customer sites as needed to support projects and build relationships
Qualification
Required
AS/BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); CAD or 3D modeling experience is a plus
Exposure to electronics, embedded systems, or high-tech manufacturing
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects
Preferred
A strong technical background
Familiarity with ELMA products
Experience with Single Board Computers, Ethernet switches, storage, and software integration
Experience with Real-time OS (Linux, VxWorks, Windows Server/XP)
Programming in C/C++ or scripting languages
Experience with contract review and technical documentation
