Marine Corps Recruiting is seeking attorneys to serve as Judge Advocates in the United States Marine Corps. This role allows lawyers to utilize their legal education and training to support military operations while providing extensive leadership opportunities and a diverse career path.
Responsibilities
Serve as a Judge Advocate in the Marine Corps, providing legal support in various practice areas including criminal and civil litigation, administrative law, and international affairs
Maintain the physical and martial traits expected of every Marine Officer
Command battalions of Marines and argue appellate cases before military courts
Qualification
Required
Pursuing or possess a J.D. from an ABA-accredited institution
Licensed to practice law in any state or federal jurisdiction
No older than 41 years of age
Possess a high level of physical fitness
Initial four-year commitment
