They are seeking a Paint and Adhesive Engineering Technical Lead to engineer and manage paint and adhesive equipment installations, diagnose deficiencies in manufacturing processes, and support product development teams.

Responsibilities
Engineer, cost and direct paint/adhesive equipment installations at Inteva facilities worldwide
Meet all assigned project deliverables in the field: safely, on-time and within budget
Diagnose and correct deficiencies in manufacturing paint, adhesive and surface treatment processes
Investigate, recommend and develop new application and surface pretreatment technologies
Generate and implement cost savings concepts related to equipment and material
Support product development teams through regular personal interaction, commitment to deliverables and support for team members
Qualification
Required
Paint applications experience
Adhesive development and testing experience
Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and operate independently
Highly motivated to attain work objectives, manage and prioritize multiple tasks under demanding situations and timing
Excellent organization and planning skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Available for domestic and international travel, up to 50% of working days on average
Excellent problem-solving skills
High degree of self-motivation and self-direction
Competent ability with MS Office computer programs: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
High level of analytical ability, oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of paint chemistry for automotive interior plastics (1K/2K/WB/SB/soft-touch/hard-touch)
Proven ability to work in a team environment, as an active team member, group facilitator and leader
Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and control equipment
Competent with Autodesk AutoCAD
Experience with ABB and/or Fanuc paint and material handling robots
Competent with Microsoft Project
