Responsibilities

Designing, prototyping and documenting engine, transmission, and electrified powertrain wiring harnesses to be used in dynamometer test cells
Organizing and overseeing the building of such harnesses (both in-house and outsourced to a supplier)
Checking for errors
Verifying operation
Controlling inventory
Troubleshooting issues
Ensuring that appropriate corrective actions are made
Reading and interpreting device transmittal information
Utilizing information to efficiently design wiring harnesses for dynamometer testing
Interfacing with a network of product development engineers to gather required electrical information
Working with in house technicians and third party suppliers to build harnesses to spec
Engaging in multiple projects simultaneously

Required

Bachelors degree in electrical, mechanical, or aeronautical engineering
2 - 4 years of relevant work experience in automotive testing or electronics
Ability to design and modify electrical circuits
Ability to troubleshoot and correct wiring related issues
Familiarity with electrical noise mitigation, proper grounding, shielding, etc
Comfortability with working on multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Experience using MS office and/or Google Suite applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Automotive / electronics background
Circuit design
Ability to troubleshoot wiring related issues
No Driving a Stellantis vehicle is required
Location: CTC -The position is 100% on site, 7:00a-3:30p. Almost 0% travel (if any, it would be local)
