SDL Search Partners is working with one of Boston's top Global Investment Management firms, seeking an Associate for their Financial Reporting team. This role involves overseeing transactions, processing distributions, and collaborating with the Investment Operations team on various projects.

Responsibilities

Supervision and review of work as prepared by the offshore team
Responsible for transactions within blocker portfolio
Review and analysis of complex legal agreements as they pertain to the funds
Direct coordination and presentations for the Credit leadership team
Cross-departmental business partnering, including reporting for investor relations, portfolio management, tax, and legal teams
Responsible for reconciliations and preparation of distributions
Process improvement, involvement in systems integrations / upgrades
Ad hoc projects as they arise

Qualification

Investment OperationsPublic AccountingCPAAnalytical SkillsCommunication Skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or advanced degree
3+ years of experience within Investment Operations, or Public Accounting (Tax or Assurance)
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Interest in growth and professional development

Preferred

Big 4 experience is highly preferred
CPA is a plus
