Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM (CMDB, Service Mapping, CSDM), and ITAM (HAM/SAM)
Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define architectural vision and roadmap for ServiceNow implementations
Oversee customization, configuration, and optimization of ServiceNow modules following best practices for scalability and performance
Architect integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (LDAP, Active Directory, SAP, APIs) to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability
Provide technical leadership, mentoring development teams, and enforcing consistent coding standards
Establish governance and security processes to maintain platform integrity, compliance, and proper data/access management
Produce comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and implementation guides
Lead system upgrades, patching, and platform enhancements aligned with ServiceNow releases
Implement ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) in ServiceNow ITSM
Execute multiple end-to-end ITOM implementations including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, and CSDM
Hands-on development of patterns, Discovery Schedules, probes, sensors, and Event rules
Integrate ServiceNow with CMDB tools, enterprise monitoring systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Utilize scripting languages including JavaScript, PowerShell, Perl, WMI, SSH, Python, XPath, SNMP
Expertise in App Engine, custom module implementations, workflow administration, reporting, UI configurations, notifications, data imports, and automation opportunities
Qualification
Required
12+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience with at least 3 years in lead/architect role
Deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture, modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSDM), integrations (REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, MID Server), scripting (Glide API, Business Rules)
Knowledge of update sets, version control, deployment processes, and platform governance
Familiarity with advanced features like Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence
Preferred
Experience with ITSM, ITOM, Service Mapping, CSDM modules including Discovery, Orchestration, Event Management, SOM, CSM, SPM
Cloud integration experience (AWS, Azure)
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks
