Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and PE sponsor on strategy, performance, and value-creation initiatives
Present financial results, forecasts, KPI's and strategic analyses to the Board and investors
Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
Develop KPI dashboards and reporting cadence aligned with PE expectations
Drive data-driven decision-making across the organization
Improve margins, cash flow, and working capital management
Implement scalable financial processes, systems, and internal controls
Support pricing strategy, unit economics analysis, and cost optimization
Oversee accounting, audit, tax, and treasury functions
Ensure GAAP compliance and readiness for lender, investor, and audit scrutiny
Build a finance organization capable of supporting a larger, more complex company
Manage relationships with lenders, banks, auditors, and advisors
Lead or support debt raises, refinancings, and covenant compliance
Play key role in company integrations, and eventual exit planning
Qualification
Required
10-15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
Prior CFO or senior finance role in a PE-backed, high-growth organization
Experience scaling finance functions through growth, systems upgrades, or acquisitions
Strong financial acumen with an operator's mindset
Ability to spearhead Day to Day accounting operations
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
Ability be a trust team leader to the current organization
Clear communicator with credibility at the Board and investor level
Proven people leader who can build and develop high-performing teams
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Preferred
CPA, MBA, or CFA a plus
