Responsibilities
Stay ahead of breakdowns with scheduled HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and system upkeep
Knock out tickets fast and clean - your experience means fewer callbacks and happier tenants
Troubleshoot and fix complex issues across HVAC (including automation), electrical, and plumbing systems
Prep commercial spaces for new tenants with repairs and system checks that meet Oakbrook's high standards
Spot issues before they escalate - your eyes are trained to catch what others miss
Keep grounds safe, clean, and professional
Share after-hours duty (about one week every 10 weeks)
Qualification
Required
3+ years in commercial maintenance or facilities management preferred
Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
Experience with HVAC automation and commercial-grade equipment
Strong diagnostic, communication, and documentation skills
A commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism
Valid driver's license and insurability under Oakbrook's provider
