Responsibilities
Manage renewal business under limited supervision of an Underwriter - prepare analysis of exposure and present to Underwriter for signoff
Gather and review information on financial conditions, risk exposure, loss history, and economic trends that may impact the terms and conditions offered to the client
Provide forms/coverage interpretations and advice on additional coverage needs, understand and evaluate exposures, and underwrite policy change requests
Accountable for accurate underwriting documentation/information in account management system and adherence to documentation standards
Ensure accuracy of information inputted into all appropriate systems and verify that all necessary documentation is in the file
Maintain current and continue to develop new effective relationships and/or regular contact with clients and build strong relationships with employees across the organization. This role requires up to 25% travel
Seek cross selling opportunities
Strong computer skills, comfortable working in multiple systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work individually and with a team
Detail oriented with ability to juggle multiple priorities
Self-directed and highly productive with little supervision
Comfortable with high volume workloads and meeting production standards

Would like for the top candidate to possess an understanding of insurance products with a basic knowledge or rules, rates and forms
