Responsibilities
Responsible for ACA accreditation and PREA audits at Rutherford Correctional Center
Provide hands on guidance and assistance to the section heads within their assigned facility regarding ACA and PREA audits
Provide technical guidance to the Warden(s)
Coordinate internal compliance audits, safety and health audits and inspections and region inspections
Ensure all standard operating procedures and post orders are following audit standards and division policy
Serve as the coordinator for monitoring the strategic plan and key performance indicators
Serve as the Facility Public Information Officer
Work collaboratively with other Prison section heads, the Warden, the Region Director, the Region Compliance Manager, the Division Audit Administrator, Director of Performance and Standards and other Division Directors to develop strategies for enhancing prison operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two (2) years of experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Requires extensive knowledge of prison operations, state and federal regulations and laws governing assigned areas of responsibility
Extensive knowledge of performance audit procedures, standards, and emerging practices
Extensive knowledge and application of federal PREA regulations, laws compliance requirements
