PRODUCTION PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Responsibilities

You will extract and analyze production data to determine the cause of production program delays
You will coordinate work with support codes and trades shops who execute production tasks
You will provide guidance on the development and review of policies, procedures, and processes for production improvement and training programs
You will attend briefings and meetings to provide senior leadership with updates on work schedules, status updates, and program requirements
You will formulate recommendations for mitigating critical problems

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

This is a bargaining unit position
You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift
Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing research and analyzing data from multiple systems to determine cause of program/operational deficiencies and provide recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M., if related
A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education
