Responsibilities
Design and own end-to-end system architecture for complex software solutions
Define architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across engineering teams
Evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and tools aligned with business needs
Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and engineers
Ensure systems meet requirements for scalability, reliability, performance, and security
Review designs and code to ensure architectural integrity and quality
Guide cloud, microservices, API, and data architecture strategies
Identify technical risks and lead mitigation strategies
Support modernization efforts, including legacy system transformation
Qualification
Required
8+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years in an architecture or senior technical leadership role
Strong expertise in system design, distributed systems, and object-oriented principles
Experience with modern architectures (microservices, event-driven, cloud-native)
Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Go, JavaScript)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong understanding of APIs, data modeling, and integration patterns
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Experience designing enterprise-scale or highly regulated systems
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
Familiarity with security, compliance, and governance standards
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, TOGAF, etc.)
