Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a DevSecOps engineering team while establishing best practices across development groups
Architect and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, AWS, and Artifactory
Build standardized CI/CD templates and continuously improve pipeline speed, security, and reliability
Design secure, scalable solutions for application modernization and cloud migration efforts
Embed security scanning, vulnerability management, and automated security testing into CI/CD workflows
Enhance observability using tools like Prometheus, Splunk, and Dynatrace
Support disaster recovery planning, compliance validation, and resilience initiatives
Develop automation tools using Python, Go, and NodeJS to streamline delivery and security processes
Collaborate with Platform Engineering and AppSec teams to promote secure coding and early vulnerability remediation
Guide adoption of microservices, infrastructure‑as‑code, and cloud‑native design
Evaluate emerging technologies—including MLOps and AI platforms—to strengthen automation and security posture
Ensure alignment with internal standards and partner security requirements
Perform additional responsibilities as needed while upholding organizational policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
5–7 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or platform automation
Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and cloud infrastructure architecture
Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tooling (GitLab, Jenkins), Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Terraform, and Artifactory
Programming skills in Python, Go, and NodeJS for automation and pipeline tooling
Strong understanding of secure coding, vulnerability scanning, and automated security testing
Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Splunk, and Dynatrace
Knowledge of Linux systems, IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), and automation frameworks (Ansible or similar)
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, microservices, MLOps, AI platforms, and cloud‑native architectures
Experience with resilience engineering, compliance frameworks, and disaster recovery planning
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to work independently and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously
High attention to detail and strong decision‑making skills
Effective communication skills, including the ability to present recommendations to upper management
Demonstrated project management experience and technical leadership capabilities
