Responsibilities
Provides leadership and management to the PMO team. Trains PMO staff on project management methodology and coaches project managers on project quality issues as needed
Provides support for corporate budgeting and budget tracking
Maintains knowledge of entire PMO portfolio: region impacts, milestones, risks, schedule, etc
Responsible for the portfolio as a whole. Ensures quality output for all items in the portfolio, develops reports, and reads out to senior leaders and teammates on portfolio health
Develops and maintains performance metrics to make informed recommendations for strategic decision making
Keeps abreast of new developments in project management methodologies, agile practices, best practices and industry standards
Serves as SME of the project management methodology and technology (Smartsheet). Ensures accuracy of Smartsheet data across the portfolio and prepares reports
May serve as the Director’s delegate in meetings representing the PMO. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary

Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience managing large, cross-functional projects impacting multiple departments
Strong written and verbal communication at all levels from frontline to senior leaders
Bachelor's Degree While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)
7-10 Years of relevant work experience
Preferred
Prior Comcast experience
Familiarity with Smartsheet and OneNote
