Responsibilities
Responsible for designing, rendering, and releasing all packaging for the organization; Responsible for collaborating with the PD/PM team to become intimately familiar with the entire product line; Responsible for releasing all art to China for print production in a timely fashion; Responsible for ensuring packaging execution is flawless at retail; Responsible for keeping up-to-date on competitive packaging trends (both in our category and in general consumer products)
Create and design any necessary renderings, planograms and planogram signage for account presentations; React in a timely fashion to all unexpected sales opportunities
Support a Graphic Designer who is responsible for developing all necessary graphics for Amazon, including but not limited to infographics, A+ pages, Brand Store, etc
Responsible for ensuring brand consistency throughout all consumer facing assets
Qualification
Required
5–7 years package design experience required. Preference will be given to mass market package design experience
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design
Strong graphic design skills and experience using the Adobe Creative Suite
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with various types of package structures and merchandising (Endcaps, pallets, etc.)
Ability to create and assemble physical renderings of packaging efficiently
Keeps up with the latest category and fashion trends
Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofing for content and context
A high degree of organization, flexibility, and reliability to set priorities, manage multiple responsibilities, and work well under pressure
Highly autonomous and isn't afraid to work hard and work fast
Excellent interpersonal skills and professional presence, including good verbal skills, tact, and diplomacy as well as the ability to interact positively with all types of people in all levels of the company
Ability to work collaboratively with team members as well as outside resources
