Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on people-related topics
Promote open communication and strong working relationships across teams
Support managers in building engaged, motivated, and high-performing teams
Partner with leadership to strengthen employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction
Ensure consistent, people-centered HR practices across the agency
Support employees through onboarding, role transitions, and career growth
Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute people strategies aligned with agency growth
Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning
Provide insight to leadership on employee engagement, morale, and organizational health
Oversee full-cycle recruiting for communications, marketing, creative, digital, and leadership roles
Build onboarding experiences that help employees ramp quickly and feel connected
Design learning, coaching, and career development programs that support long-term growth
Champion a collaborative, inclusive, and values-driven agency culture
Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across hiring, development, and advancement
Develop feedback, recognition, and engagement programs that reinforce performance and belonging
Design and manage performance management and review processes
Partner with leadership on career paths, promotions, and growth planning
Support managers in developing and retaining top talent

Required

8+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on people strategy and employee experience
Strong relationship-building, coaching, and leadership skills
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on support
Bachelor's degree required

Preferred

Experience in a communications agency, professional services, or creative environment preferred
HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) a plus
