Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for water and wastewater treatment plant projects
Lead takeoffs, subcontractor pricing, and bid strategy development
Analyze plans, specifications, and alternative delivery methods
Develop conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid estimates
Evaluate project risk, contingencies, and value-engineering options
Coordinate with operations, project managers, and engineering teams
Review subcontractor and supplier proposals for scope and accuracy
Present estimates and bid packages to senior leadership
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10+ years of estimating experience in water or wastewater treatment plant construction
Proven background estimating complex treatment facilities
Strong understanding of process equipment, civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes
Experience with hard bids, GMPs, and negotiated work
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and cost accuracy
Confident communicator able to work with owners, engineers, and executives
Self-driven, deadline-oriented, and comfortable leading estimates independently
