Program Coordinator Anesthesia Education Services
Advocate Aurora Health is the third-largest nonprofit integrated health system in the United States, and they are seeking a Program Coordinator for their Anesthesia Education Services. The role involves performing administrative functions to support the Research Director, program faculty, and residents, including managing databases and coordinating conferences and meetings.

Responsibilities
Serves as administrative assistant to the Research Director in regards to any research-related activities for the faculty and residents in the department
Manages and ensures the accuracy of a database regarding all IRB protocols, renewal dates, deadlines, and paperwork completion; Serves as a Regulatory Coordinator for the anesthesia department
Coordinates preparations for the anesthesia conferences and meetings such as: Midwest Anesthesia Resident Conference (MARC), American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) annual meeting, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA) annual meetings, etc. under the direction of the Research Director including preparation of abstracts, posters, and PowerPoint presentations for up to 31 residents
Manages and ensures the accuracy of a database regarding scholarly activity for all faculty and residents in the department
Helps in literature review, finding references and making EndNote databases
Others duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Assoc degree or equivalent
3 years of increasing responsibility in medical education, administrative, research or academic setting
Computer skills--proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point
Proficient in data base management and creation of spreadsheets
Ability to prioritize and work independently
Ability to write clearly and edit for errors; strong command of the English language, both oral and written
High attention to detail
Critical thinking
Service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
Ability to follow verbal instructions
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to analyze issues and create action plans
Ability to work with diverse individuals and/or groups
Ability to work with a variety of data; problem solving with data requires independent interpretation of guidelines
Ability to juggle multiple projects and manage priorities
Ability to generate simple graphs
Ability to compile and organize a wide variety of information into a single packet
Must be able to lift 25-30 pounds (copy paper boxes, etc)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
Typing 55+ WPM
Medical terminology
Basic web design management skills
