Responsibilities

Lead the qualification and validation of cold plates and cooling manifolds for AI GPU systems
Evaluate and optimize server fans and heatsinks for thermal efficiency and acoustic performance
Collaborate with R&D, product management, and customer engineering teams to define thermal requirements and ensure compliance with system specifications
Provide technical support and guidance to customers during design-in and deployment phases including test configuration documentation, ensuring our internal R&D teams can replicate any failures
Conduct thermal simulations, performance testing, and failure analysis to support product development and customer troubleshooting
Interface with other system teams to ensure we are covering all potential new systems
Document and present findings, recommendations, and technical reports to internal and external stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in thermal design or applications engineering, preferably in GPU, server, or data center environments
Strong understanding of liquid cooling systems, airflow dynamics, and heat transfer principles
Hands-on experience with thermal simulation tools (e.g., FloTHERM, ANSYS Icepak) and lab instrumentation
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Ability to travel internationally to visit factories and/or R&D centers as needed

Preferred

Familiarity with AI workloads and GPU architecture
Experience working with OEMs and hyperscale data center customers
Knowledge of industry standards for thermal performance and reliability
