Engineering Technician I - Product Engineering Support
Epitec is seeking an Engineering Technician I to join the Accelerated Design Verification (ADV) group and play a key role in product validation and performance testing. The role involves assembling mechanical test rigs, performing tests, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical test rigs using hand tools, impact wrenches, and overhead cranes
Connect hydraulic systems and electrical control cables
Perform setup changes, inspections, and repairs based on test parameters
Monitor ongoing tests and adjust controls to keep operations running efficiently
Collect instrumentation data and support basic data acquisition tasks
Document all test activities using a web?based system
Collaborate with engineers, test operators, and shop teams
Perform general lab upkeep, cleaning, and parts pickup as needed
Qualification
Required
Experience repairing, tearing down, or working with machinery (automotive or mechanical tech is ideal)
Comfort working with tools and mechanical assemblies
Basic understanding of electrical schematics (can train further)
Ability to read part drawings and layout diagrams
Familiarity with Windows systems and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred
Experience with hydraulic systems is a plus but not required
