Responsibilities
Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for aerospace and defense applications
Create detailed schematics , perform component selection , and conduct design reviews
Develop simulation models and perform SPICE or equivalent analyses for signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and noise
Troubleshoot and resolve circuit-level issues during prototype build, system integration, and qualification phases
Support environmental, EMI/EMC, DO-254, and reliability testing for aerospace systems
Develop test plans , perform bench testing , and document test results
Prepare and maintain engineering documentation including schematics, BOMs, design notes, and verification reports
Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards such as DO-160, DO-254, IPC, and MIL-STD (as applicable)
Participate in internal and customer design reviews and ensure traceability to system and program requirements
Collaborate closely with systems, software, PCB layout, and manufacturing teams
Provide technical support during production builds, supplier discussions, and root-cause investigations
Contribute to program schedules, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
12–15 years of hands-on Electrical Design Engineering experience in Aerospace & Defense
Strong experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
Proficiency in circuit simulation tools (SPICE or equivalent)
Experience with EMI/EMC, environmental testing, and aerospace certification standards
Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills
