Responsibilities

Maintains and optimizes all digital and traditional broadcast systems, including RF equipment, transmitters, studio consoles, and audio technology
Troubleshoots outages and technical issues; performs routine diagnostics, repairs, and equipment replacements
Supports installation, training, and use of hardware, software, servers, workstations, and networking components
Installs and maintains desktop systems for internal users and market sites
Documents all maintenance, repair, and technical activity
Determines required test equipment, parts, and tools for repairs
Travels periodically to other iHeartMedia locations for installation or troubleshooting support
Participates in on‑call rotation with occasional night and weekend work
Communicates effectively with leadership, programming, sales, and technical teams in a service‑oriented environment

Required

Minimum of five years of radio broadcast engineering experience
Strong technical expertise
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Valid state driver's license with an excellent driving record
Comfortable climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Associate degree or higher in a technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Familiarity with radio broadcast operations, including automation systems, studio equipment, and transmitter-site RF technology
Strong computer and IT skills to support modern broadcast workflows
Proven ability to manage and develop a team of broadcast engineers
Participates in on-call rotation with occasional night and weekend work
Excellent written and oral communications skills
