Manufacturing Process Engineer Manager
Employbridge is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineering Leader to drive process excellence and support strategic manufacturing initiatives. The role involves leading technical teams, mentoring process engineers, and optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
Mentor and guide a team of process engineers, supporting technical growth and performance
Provide input into strategic manufacturing decisions to optimize efficiency and cost
Analyze production and process flows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Manage internal process improvement projects, including budgets and resource allocation
Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and conduct risk assessments
Track, analyze, and report KPIs related to cost, quality, and throughput
Troubleshoot and resolve engineering and production issues involving processes, equipment, and tooling
Develop and present recommendations that extend beyond current operating parameters
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Official technical degree (engineering or related discipline)
5+ years of management and/or technical leadership experience
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and improvement methodologies
Proven ability to coach and develop engineers, supervisors, and technical staff
Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Formal training and experience in Tool & Die
5–10+ years of experience in setup, operation, and process development with die cast machines
Deep understanding of complex die cast tooling
Preferred
Experience with Buhler, Prince, and Weingarten equipment strongly preferred
