Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of IT Finance and enterprise application projects, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met
Manage medium to high complexity, company-wide initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, and system integrators
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, financial forecasts, and risk registers
Prepare and deliver regular executive-level status reports and PowerPoint presentations
Facilitate project governance through status meetings, stand-ups, reviews, and steering committee sessions
Partner closely with finance and business stakeholders to manage budgets, forecasts, accruals, and financial variance reporting
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating appropriately when required
Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure alignment with project deliverables, timelines, and contractual obligations
Ensure adherence to PMO standards, SDLC practices, and organizational governance requirements
Lead workshops, training sessions, and strategic project meetings; document outcomes and action items
Qualification
Required
8–10 years of experience managing enterprise IT projects, with a strong focus on finance systems
Proven experience delivering large ERP or financial application initiatives (SAP Finance, Oracle, or similar)
Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects with cross-functional and matrixed teams
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and SDLC; ability to operate in agile or hybrid environments
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project
Exceptional executive communication skills, including creation of executive-ready PowerPoint presentations
Strong financial acumen, including budget tracking, forecasting, and variance management
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
PMP certification
Master's degree
Experience leading financial transformation or business process re-engineering initiatives
Exposure to QA/UAT tracking tools such as qTest
Prior experience in regulated or industrial environments
Energy sector experience a plus
