Electrical Test Engineer
EVONA is a company focused on ensuring the quality of their products through rigorous testing. The Associate Electrical Test Engineer will develop and execute tests, analyze product features, and prepare test reports while collaborating with the design team and providing technical support.
Responsibilities
Meeting with the product design team and sub-system lead engineers to determine product testing requirements
Writing test plans, test procedures and developing test processes to maturity
Execution of the test procedure
Training of technical staff and providing technical support when needed
Development, evaluation and implementation of automation into test processes wherever possible
Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards
Preparing test reports for management
Providing subject-matter expertise on test equipment and methods to product engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace or Computer engineering field or Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of direct experience
Flexibility/adaptability in a fast-paced & dynamic environment
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
U.S Citizen or Permanent Resident
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Preferred
Experience in a research, development, test or other laboratory environment
Experience with common laboratory software (LabView, Ansys, MATLab etc)
Experience with test automation
Familiarity with general purpose electronics test equipment: power supplies, digital multimeters, source meters
Familiarity with battery systems, and battery cycling equipment
Familiarity with photovoltaic (PV) solar cells and their design, test or manufacturing processes
Familiarity with environmental test chambers, vibe table
Experience in quality control or inspection of complicated electronics, particularly those used for aerospace or defense applications
Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complicated systems
