IT Technician (Part-time, OPS) (Panama City Campus)

The IT Technician role involves providing computing support, including hardware repair and software installation, to faculty, staff, and students at the FSU Panama City campus.

Responsibilities
Providing excellent service to the FSU Panama City campus (faculty, staff and students), across a range of computing support activities
Provide computer support, including hardware repair, software installation, and troubleshooting
Assist with classroom technology and distance learning support
Assist with setup of A/V equipment for on campus events
FSU Tech Services staff is willing to provide on-site training to the selected candidate
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to one year
Willingness to learn, Aptitude for IT environment
Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
Basic network configuration and troubleshooting skills required
Experience with documenting processes (new and existing)
Experience prioritizing, organizing, and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously
Experience working successfully in a team-oriented environment
Ability to comprehend technical documents and manuals
Ability to climb ladders and ability to lift and carry a minimum of 35lbs
Preferred
A+ certification or experience that demonstrates equivalent knowledge
Experience with A/V equipment and various classroom technology
Strong experience with Customer Service
