Maintstar Implementation Business Analyst
CIBR Warriors is seeking a techno-functional business analyst with a focus on the implementation of the MaintStar software solution. The role involves requirements gathering, system configuration, project management, and providing training and support to clients, primarily within government agencies.
Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients (typically government agency staff) to understand their specific needs for permitting, inspections, and code enforcement processes
System Configuration: Configure and customize the MaintStar Land Management software to meet client specifications, which may involve setting up workflows for permit applications, license issuance, and inspection management
Project Management and Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and monitor project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful and on-time implementation
Testing and Validation: Participate in testing phases to validate the functionality and performance of the implemented solutions, often using SQL reporting tools to test data processing
Training and Support: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to ensure they are proficient with the system and can leverage its full capabilities
Documentation: Document implementation processes, user guides, and training materials to facilitate client onboarding and knowledge continuity
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues for clients during the implementation phase and after the system goes live
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and support teams, to ensure alignment on project goals
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of experience as a techno-functional business analyst
Responsibility for the successful requirements gathering and analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment of the MaintStar software solution
Familiarity with permitting, code enforcement, and planning/zoning business processes
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach
Experience with software deployment and integration projects
Knowledge of land management, permitting, code enforcement, or public works processes may be required, depending on the role's seniority
Familiarity with database management and GIS (Geographic Information System) integration
Excellent communication skills to act as a trusted advisor and facilitate training sessions for clients
Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a team environment
