Responsibilities
Support the design, build, and validation of electro-mechanical test fixtures, primarily rack-based fixtures for I/O control and voltage verification
Work on projects from concept, definition, design, testing, and release to production
Perform PCB and instrument testing, including fixture development and user experience improvements
Execute Design Verification activities through defined test protocols
Prepare and implement design changes, including:
Schematics
PCBA updates
Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
Support Engineering Change Management and related documentation
Conduct First Article / Sample Qualification, including:
Component Qualification Plans
Qualification Reports and approvals
Perform replacement and alternate component identification, evaluation, and impact assessment
Support ERP updates, including part and BOM setup in Oracle EBS
Develop project plans, timelines, and track progress to meet delivery targets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality
Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and technical specifications
Ensure adherence to reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets
Generate required technical documentation and reports using Excel and PowerPoint
Qualification
Required
6–8 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or similar role
Bachelor's or Master's degree (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering
Bachelor's or Master's degree (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech) in Electronics Engineering
Bachelor's or Master's degree (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech) in Production Engineering
Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
Mandatory experience with electro-mechanical test fixture development (rack-based systems)
PCB or instrument testing experience
Experience with ECAD tools for schematic and PCBA updates
Hands-on experience with ECO and design change processes
First Article Testing and component qualification experience
Supply Chain and replacement/alternate evaluation experience
Proficiency in Oracle EBS for part and BOM management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and team-based environments
Preferred
Medical device or regulated industry experience
Prior experience leading or mentoring teams
