The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional solutions and ensure seamless integration across retail systems.

Responsibilities
Analyze and understand retail business processes: Merchandise Management, POS, Pricing, Promotions, and Inventory
Configure and support SAP IS-Retail modules including Article Master, Site Master, Assortment, Pricing, and Promotions
Implement and support SAP CAR components such as POSDTA, Demand Data Foundation (DDF), and UDF
Work on real-time and near real-time POS data integration
Collaborate with technical teams for integration with S/4HANA and third-party systems
Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements
Support UAT, data validation, and production go-live activities
Provide L2/L3 production support and incident resolution
Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and retail industry standards
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with SAP IS-Retail configuration and support
Good knowledge of SAP CAR and its data models
Experience in POS integration and transaction data processing
Understanding of pricing, promotions, and assortment planning
Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, and OData services
Ability to write detailed functional documents (FS, BRD, UAT scripts)
Preferred
Knowledge of S/4HANA Retail is highly preferred
