Senior Program Manager

Required

At least a MPH, M.A., or related graduate degree such as public policy, public administration, or international affairs
Ten or more years of professional experience in global health program management, administration, and implementation
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working on HIV programs, particularly with a global and/or prevention focus
Strong knowledge and experience developing workplans, tracking project outputs and engaging diverse partners
Ability to lead high-profile, policy relevant global health initiatives, including public speaking
Excellent written and oral communication skills in positions requiring communication with a broad audience, particularly in cross-cultural settings
Demonstrated ability to work well in ambiguity, self-starter who does not require directives and a team player who enjoys collaborating

Preferred

Knowledge of existing and next generation HIV prevention biomedical tools
Experience working for the U.S. government or one of its implementing partners
Experience working with community-based organizations, donor and recipient governments, and global HIV/AIDS partners, supporting programs in Africa
Experience living and working in Africa
Demonstrated success in leading discussions and coordinating with government agencies, host country governments and counterparts, and international donor agencies
A PhD, DrPH, or MD
Experience writing and publishing academic papers
Organizational skills and proactive work style
