Supplier QC Inspector

Responsibilities

Execute Supplier Quality Control (SQC) activities for assigned projects
Establish and manage SQC strategy , including Project Expediting & Inspection Plans (PEIP)
Evaluate and estimate SQC manhours and costs
Support proposal phases, PEIP development, and Preliminary Inspection Meetings (PIMs)
Perform inspections based on approved strategies, including CTQ parameters
Ensure conformity of purchased equipment with applicable requirements
Act as the primary contact for U.S. inspection assignments across global E&C centers
Coordinate and lead SQC activities with third-party inspection agencies and internal teams
Support projects with manufacturing, control, and certification issues
Participate in continuous improvement of processes, standards, and best practices
Coordinate inspection resources (internal and external)
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required

Minimum 10 years of Quality Control experience
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience
Minimum 5 years of project execution experience
Background in Industrial Gas, Mechanics, or Boiler Making (5 years)
Fluent in English
Extensive knowledge of U.S. Construction Codes (ASME, API, AWS, AISC, IBC, etc.)
Fabrication processes — Proficient
Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) — Proficient
Materials and welding — Proficient
Industrial gas equipment — Proficient
U.S. statutory and regulatory requirements — Practicing knowledge
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive) — Advanced
SAP, SRM tools, and Non-Conformities Management systems — Working knowledge

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
