Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities
Answer a high volume of incoming calls from providers communicating information about member eligibility, health plan benefits, physician referrals, claims and related matters
Responds to written correspondence and email as well as face-to-face inquiries from providers
Provide follow up on inquiries, which includes faxing, documentation, mailing and/or liaising with other departments
Provides assistance for resolving problems concerning CHP membership and services
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Preferred
an Associate's degree (AA/AS)
a minimum of one year of call center or medical office experience
computer proficiency with MS Office products
