Responsibilities
Lead Android development modules and guide a small team of 2–3 developers on mobile application projects
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin
Implement robust, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions following modern Android best practices
Collaborate with backend, middleware, and enterprise system teams to ensure seamless integrations
Participate in low-level design, coding, unit testing, and debugging
Ensure applications follow Android design guidelines and Material Design principles
Work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
3–4+ years of hands-on experience developing Android applications using Kotlin
Strong understanding of Android frameworks, including: Jetpack, AndroidX, Room Database or similar offline data storage solutions, Mobile data sync mechanisms
Experience integrating Android apps with enterprise backend systems, such as: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, MySQL, eCommerce platforms, Payment gateways
Experience working with: Cloud-based middleware, Databases, REST/SOAP web services
Strong knowledge of Android Studio and related development tools
Ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues
Experience implementing MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar design patterns
Ability to create low-level design documents, write high-quality code, and perform unit testing
Solid understanding of Android UI/UX guidelines and Material Design
Strong communication skills
Good problem-solving ability
Proactive learning attitude
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) mobile app development
Experience publishing apps to the Google Play Store or enterprise app stores
